-Merlene and Ruth created postcards for luncheon.

-The luncheon committee requested that members bring a pan of bars or cookies for the dessert.

-Ruth suggested having inserts in church bulletins.

-Members were asked to bring an item/basket for the silent action.

-Proceeds from the sale of the plants will go to the GO Green Club.  The price of $5 will be placed on the plants

-Dena will have Go Green Club members deliver the luncheon post cards to name from data base created by WalMart volunteers.

-Next luncheon meetings will be:

April 9                        4:30pm            Nature Center

April 16            4:30pm            Pickett Place

 

-Earth Week flyer will be created.

-Ideas are needed for Earth Day event at Austin High School, suggestion of showing “Cool City” PowerPoint on a laptop.

-A.C.E.S. needs to arrange to have light display at event

-Cans will be collected as a competition among Connect classes during Earth Week

-Dena has water bottles for silent auction.

-Larry showed the silent auction basket from the Nature Center

-Susan will ask Dave Thompson from Austin Utilities to donate  30 CFLs to Going Green Club.

-Bob, Mark, Dan, Susan will finalize non-profit documents.  Mark will e-mail documents.

-Mark will order Cool City caps to sell at luncheon.

-Jim Hurm made a motion to approve $50 to have trademark for A.C.E.S. –don’t know who seconded-passed
